From
Online Newsletter To Blog
We’ve
finally joined the hordes of bloggers in the blogosphere – yay us!
Not
ones to turn our noses up at all sweeping trends, we’ve decided to investigate – and got
hooked. Between the
three of us (Rima, Neda and Zan), we’ve managed to come up with
not one, but two different blogs – MaraZine
and artEzan. We’re
willing to bet you’ll get hooked on reading our blogs as well.
I
have to admit, it’s loads of fun to write a blog, even more than
this newsletter. We're
still writing about the arts, delightful finds and different
techniques, but with the added bonus of no deadlines and
many more frequent updates – almost daily articles and posts,
and mucho images. It’s
a lot easier to add pictures to a blog than to a website, so I’m
getting a kick out of adding a visual anchor to every single
article. It is also
easier for the readers to leave comments on things they’ve loved
or hated, and we treasure this feedback. You
will also find open discussions on fascinating topics related to art
and its role in all our lives.
There
is so much for us to share about subjects that interest us both
(writer and reader – a fair assumption since you’re already
here) and we’re looking forward to having you visit us at our new
“location”.
You
can also subscribe very easily for email updates on both blogs, and
it is just as safe as doing it here. That way, you'll be getting new
posts to your inbox directly, within a few hours of their going
live.
Come
visit, we’ll leave a light on for you…

A Preview
From
"Between You and Me, by Neda:

Is art an
expression of our inner psyche? An expression of our feelings or a
reflection of our environment? An abstract thought or just a
reaction to some stimulus? A message to the world? An aesthetic
exercise? DOES one’s art mean anything?"
